Renting
Once you have found a rental property that meets your requirements, our team assists in gathering all relevant documents and in particular in drafting the tenancy agreement. In addition, we support and guide you through the processes implemented by the various different administrative bodies and firms in Monaco:
- Insurance policies
- Phone and electricity contracts (Monaco Télécom, Société Monégasque d’Electricité, etc.)
- Residency permits
- Registering your children with schools
- Hiring staff
- Registering your cars.
Rental costs and fees are as follows:
- Rents are charged for a 3-month period (payable by set quarters)
- Provisions for charges are charged for a 3-month period (payable by set quarters)
- Deposits are set at a fixed amount equivalent to 3 months of rent
- Fees for registering the tenancy amount to 1% of the rent + charges for the first year of renting
- Agency fees are set at 10% + VAT of the rental amount for the first year
- Tenancy agreements are signed for a minimum of 1 year
The following documents must be provided:
- Valid ID
- Proof of a bank account in the Principality
- Proof of income
- Proof of residence
- Bank details
